Hey guys! Happy Sunday! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend! I don’t know about you guys, but summer sure is flying by for me. It really seems to go by so fast. Maybe it’s because summer living is just so great. We spend tons of time outdoors, we seem to be more chilled out, the sun is shining, the list could go on. In any case, I was thinking about how important it is to soak up every moment and why I think you should create seasonal bucket lists. It is something so fun and something worth planning out at the beginning of a new season so that you have a plan of all the major seasonal activities you want to do. Sure, it is fun to just fly by the seat of your pants but creating these bucket lists lets your whole family join in on the fun and make a plan for what they would like to do. I am going to drop a few ideas for different seasonal activities below.
Summer:
-Plan out a lake day and spend all day there with all of the snacks, a fun float, and some sandcastle making supplies.
– Head to an amusement park, water park, zoo, etc.
– Plan a picnic day in the park.
-Grab friends and family, grill some good eats and have an outdoor game night in your backyard.
Fall:
-Definitely head to some outdoor local farms to enjoy all the ciders, yummy treats and grab some pumpkins to decorate and carve.
– Plan a nice night for a hayride or haunted house if you like the scary times.
-Set up a smores charcuterie board, start a fire and play some cornhole with friends on a nice bonfire night.
Winter:
-Heading to a ski resort to go tubing is a must.
-Cold weather is the perfect time to head to all of the museums. Check out local art museums, go to a science center. It is the perfect time to get lost all day in a museum if it is cold outside.
-Make a hot chocolate bar, whip up some chili, and host friends for an indoor game night!
Spring:
-Hike at local parks. We are all itching to get outside by the time this beautiful season starts to hit.
-Head to a beautiful flower field to take some family pictures when the beautiful flowers start to bloom.
– Plan a trip somewhere. Winter is over, spring is here. There is no better time to get away.
While I could go on with many fun activities, these are a few that I have added to my seasonal bucket lists. Leave a comment below on what you would add to your bucket list? Is this something that you and your family do?
