Wellness Wednesday- Live Out Your Passion

Happy Wellness Wednesday to my beautiful friends! I wanted to share a topic that I think we all have a problem with from time to time and that is taking the time to do something that makes you happy and why you should make time for this and why you may regret it if you do not. Today we will list out what we can do to up our game with this and some reasons on why we do not always do the things that bring us joy.

Live your life passionately. I know that most of us are working because we need money to live and be able to take care of ourselves. I also get that most of us are not living out our dream jobs/passions/careers while we are doing this. I get it. It sucks sometimes! But just know that no matter what, you have an opportunity to still work hard towards your dreams and goals on the side. Whatever your passion is find it and stick with it. Living your life being passionate about things that matter to you will pay off one day and will make you appreciate the journey as you are going along.

Sometimes we are afraid of what others will think of us. There are so many people who hold back on their dreams and goals because they are afraid of what others will think of them. I used to be that way and then I really sat and thought about it and I changed my mind on this matter real quick. The most important thing to note is that people are always going to have opinions on you no matter what you do, but if these people do not have a direct impact to your daily life, then do not let them control what will bring you happiness in life.

We don’t have the time. Time is something that escapes all of us. We feel like we do not have enough hours of the day to get everything that we need to get done let alone what we want to get done. I know that time is of the essence, but all I can truly say on this matter is that if we want something bad enough, we will make time for it. It does not matter how tired we are, how much we want to give up, if we want something bad enough then we will persevere and make it happen.

Scared to fail. Most times in life we are our own worst critics. Failure is inevitable in life. No one is going to shoot through this life perfect and never make mistakes. It is however important to know that even when we fail, that does not mean it is the end. Mistakes are a learning curve. You make one and then you pick yourself back up and keep going.

These are some of the top reasons that we do not always live out our passions. If you get advice from anyone who has lived significantly longer than you there are normally a few pieces of advice that they typically give. One of them is to spend as much time with your family and the ones you love. You also may get that life is short and to not hold on to negative things in your life and to love the people you love hard. You also hear to chase after your dreams. All of these are so true, and you do not want to look back on life one day and think of the what ifs and what could have been. To live out your best life you must be passionate about the things you love and believe in yourself because you can do anything you want. Teaching people to reach for their dreams and goals is not just for kiddos, it is for us adults too!
