Happy New Years Eve to all of my beautiful friends!
Today I am sharing with you guys a yummy coffee recipe that is so easy to make at home! I am definitely all about saving money by making my own drinks at home and honestly with some practice, you will be making your own gourmet drinks at home in no time!! Let’s jump into today’s recipe.
Up first I brewed around 2 oz of coffee. You can do this any way that you like to make coffee. If you think that you are going to want a second cup, make some extra! Grab a mug and pour your coffee in first.

For the next step, you can use whatever type of coffee creamer you like. I happened to have some extra pumpkin spice creamer left over from the fall and that is how this creation came to be today. I added a 1/4 cup of my pumpkin pie creamer and 3/4 cup of whole milk (use whatever milk you like) into a measuring cup. I then heated that up in the microwave to get it warm.

Now comes the fun part, which is to froth your mixture. I use this electric milk frother that is pictured below. If you are not someone who is used to using this method, don’t worry–it is super easy once you catch the hang of it! I usually froth it until I notice the mixture is becoming more of a creamy texture. I would recommend looking up a video on how to use a frother and it will definitely help you!

Once you reach the creamy consistency, add the frothed mixture on top of the coffee but make sure to leave some room on top for toppings!

Now for the extra fun part, adding some toppings! So this obviously has a pumpkin pie flavor due to the fact that I used pumpkin creamer but I thought why not make this a little extra today? I mean…. it is New Year’s Eve after all! I turned this into a salted caramel pumpkin pie. I added some whipped cream on top, caramel syrup and some sea salt! SO yum!!!

The last step would be to enjoy! Coffee is really simple to make at home and my husband and I both personally like the way ours tastes when we make it at home versus buying it out! You can become as creative as you want with this flavors but don’t worry I will be writing some blogs on some fun ideas soon! I am trying to perfect becoming an “at home” barista! haha! Leave a comment below on your favorite flavor of coffee and I will chose one to make a fun creation with for my next coffee post!

xoxo, Bri
