Breakfast Recipe

Happy Saturday to all of my friends! I am sending prayers and joy your way on this beautiful sunny morning. I know that life looks a little different right now but I am hoping to share some pieces of joy and hope with you all through my blogs! I know that being stuck at home means we are all mostly cooking at home and for many that can mean getting tired of finding new recipes and making new meal plans. I want to start sharing some of my favorite recipes that make for easy meals—- #winning! I love to try new things and to experiment in the kitchen. Today I am going to be sharing a yummy breakfast for dinner recipe that is super easy to make and extremely filling and delicious. Keep on reading for all the details!

Up first you will want to preheat your oven to get it ready to make your biscuits for the base of your meal. I used the Pillsbury Grand Biscuits. They are so yummy! Once that oven is done preheating, get those biscuits ready to go and bake to timing on package or until they look done.

The next step is getting some oil in a pan and making some diced potatoes. Not necessary, but it does make for a nice little side dish!

Once that is all started, I get another pan on the stove and start cooking up the meat. I used pork sausage for my meat and ground that up in the pan until it was done cooking.

In the meantime, I start making my gravy for the topping of our creation. The gravy I used was a packet of peppered gravy mix.

Once I have all this going, I scrambled three eggs and mixed this in with the ground pork sausage and added some shredded cheese on top to melt over the mixture! (Get creative and add whatever else you would like to your mixture).

Up last would be to plate everything. Put your biscuits down on the plate and then add your meat/egg mixture to the top of the biscuits. Add the gravy on top and you are all done! Grab your side dish of the diced potatoes and you have a nice hearty breakfast for dinner meal!

A little side note- you could totally make this into a little sandwich and add a biscuit on top or you could just leave it as an open sandwich like I did! I hope you guys enjoy this recipe because it is so good and filling! It also just makes for an extremely easy meal to make if you are looking for something easy and fairly quick!

Make sure you guys sign up with your e-mail address to stay tuned in to all of the new blogs that are coming! Stay safe, stay home, and I am sending prayers to you all!!

I normally share a bible verse, but today I wanted to share some lines from a song from one of my favorite bands–Elevation Rhythm.

“This feels like Heaven. Nothing is missing. I know I will be safe here in your sight. Everything, everything’s all right. My heart is open. There is no distance. I know fear has no place here in your light. Everything, everything’s alright.”

Place your trust in God during this time.

xoxo, Bri
